Bellydance For The  Birds – Benefit for Wasatch Avian Education Society.  The show is April 30, 2011 – tickets are $10.00 – The show will take place at the Post Theater (243 S Fort Douglas Blvd) This event is hosted by Shahravar.  For more information www.slcbellydance.com.

This will be a recital for the Hathor School of Dance with featured performances by members of the Hathor Dance Collective and special guests!  More details to come.

Yep, after a little break Layali Raqs is back!!! I am super excited to have a new venue, new dancers and live music!

Dancers in March include Meg & Liz from Blue Lotus, Kelsey & Bryan, Amanda, and Kita Zira & Lyra Zoe.

We will have live music by Quinn Reesor on drums and Katya Murafa on violin!!!

The show will be at Caffe Defa, a coffee shop in Midvale owned by Blue Lotus’ very own Annie!! There will be delicious coffee, tea and snacks available to purchase.

I am working out minor details and a flyer still but I wanted to get the word out. Cost is now $7 for a unique and intimate show in a beautful space. Seating is limited so I will have info soon about advance ticket purchase.
